Become ShipERP's HR Manager
Overview:
We are a rapidly growing company with a need for a Human Resources Manager to use their expertise and experience to develop, update and enforce appropriate policies and procedures and oversee our recruitment efforts. We are hopeful to find someone with the experience to manage the tactical day-to-day of an HR Department and provide strategic input to the executive team. This position will expand quickly, given our continued growth, and the person in this position will need to be able to handle this type of dynamic environment. An ideal candidate will be excited at the prospect of taking on this type of challenge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure employees follow policies and procedures
- Ensure legal compliance in company statements, policies, and procedures
- Act as a key business partner to members of the company to improve the recruiting process
- Develop recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards
- Assess reports provided by leads and managers to determine employee performance and training needs
- Suggest changes in policies and procedures to improve company performance
- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees
- Research compensation benchmarks to optimize recruitment and compensation
- Supervise all HR activities, communications, reports, requests, and documents across the organization (US, EU, Asia)
- Manage existing HR resources and contractors
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviews
- Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory
- Nurture a positive working environment by helping management align the organization behind its stated mission statement and values
Requirements and Skills:
- Work experience in HR leadership
- Experience designing, assessing, deploying, and optimizing talent campaigns
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resource metrics
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- We’re looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in HR
Location:
Our main office is in Long Beach, CA. A local candidate is preferred, but we are open to any location in North America.
